Song Zhiping presided over the first meeting of the Group Party Committee's Leading Group for Party Conduct, Clean Governance, and Anti Corruption Work in 2018
On July 20th, Song Zhiping, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China National Building Materials Group, presided over the first meeting of the Group Party Committee's Leading Group for Party Conduct and Anti Corruption Work in 2018. He listened to the report on Party Conduct and Anti Corruption Work in the first half of the year, studied the current situation faced by the Group's Party Conduct and Anti Corruption Work, and arranged and deployed key work for Party Conduct and Anti Corruption Construction in the second half of the year. Liu Zhijiang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Group, Cao Jianglin, Member of the Party Committee and General Manager, Sun Lishi, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, and Yang Jie, Member of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, attended the meeting.
But we must also be soberly aware that comprehensive strict governance of the Party is always on the road. The current situation of anti-corruption struggle in central enterprises is still severe and complex, and the tasks of building a clean and honest Party conduct and anti-corruption work in the group are still heavy. We must effectively enhance our sense of responsibility and urgency, and further promote anti-corruption and integrity work with more powerful measures.
Song Zhiping put forward five requirements for the key work of Party conduct and anti-corruption in the second half of 2018:
Firstly, we must elevate our political stance and effectively enhance our political awareness of comprehensively and strictly governing the Party. We must consciously align with the Party Central Committee and maintain a high degree of consistency in our speech and actions.
Secondly, we must implement the "two responsibilities" and promote the transmission of responsibility pressure at all levels. Party committees at all levels should implement the main responsibility of comprehensively and strictly governing the Party, and implement the main responsibility of building a clean and honest Party conduct. The Secretary is the first person responsible, and the full-time Deputy Secretary performs direct responsibility. The discipline inspection commission should continue to deepen the "three transformations" and play a good role in assisting the party committee in fulfilling its main responsibilities. Members of the leadership team should consciously fulfill the "dual responsibilities of one position", with both business division and party building division of responsibilities.
We must thoroughly implement the spirit of the Central Eight point Regulation and persistently strengthen the construction of work style.
We must practice and apply the "four forms" to strengthen supervision and disciplinary work. Especially, it is necessary to practice and apply the first and second forms well, learn from past mistakes, treat illnesses and save lives.
We must do a good job in inspection and supervision, and effectively play the role of inspection as a sword. We need to promote full coverage of inspections, improve institutional mechanisms, strengthen deterrence against corruption, tighten the cage of incorruptibility, enhance the consciousness of not wanting corruption, strengthen investigation and research on key issues, be good at discovering, researching, and solving problems, and continuously strengthen the construction of party conduct, clean governance, and anti-corruption work.
